Nobody wrote:If the designer was really worried about aero, they wouldn't have disc brakes and tucked the rear wheel behind the seatpost more as per modern aero bikes.

Also no amount of aero is worth sliding down the road on your face because your unsupported frame suddenly let go.
Nor would they use a greased IGH. There are many things wrong with this whole idea. What a bunch of time and money!

agree, the best looking bikes are the ones with a flat top tube, unfortunately I am too short to ever ride one :(

Not really an ugly bike (I think the frame shape and paintjob are quite nice) but I had a good giggle when I saw the forks :) .

I saw one on gumtree a while back with reversed forks, stem so high it looked like it would fall out and the riser bars on upside down, ie with a drop. There are plenty out there with backwards forks, and not always cheapo bikes either.

I see BSOs with the forks on backwards at least once a week, I reckon. Soooo many of them! Would have thought the weird handling from negative rake would be extremely alarming (not to mention the irritation of really bad toe overlap). I always think about stopping and telling the rider, but haven't done yet...Perhaps I should?

That seat post has a good chance of taking out the rear spring the next time they hit a speed bump!

Saw an ASEAKO electric bike with a frame very similar to the Northern Star, also with the forks back the front. Perhaps they handle better that way!!
