For example:
Q: Which flat bar bike should I buy?
A: Buy a drop bar road bike - I had a flat bat but switched to drops and its heaps better.
Go. Hopefully we can get to 16 pages soon.

Q: I found an old steel road bike, is it valuable?
A: yes, you should put it on ebay with a starting price of eleventy hundred dollars and don't listen to anyone who tells you Roadmaster aren't a good brand, they are just trying to rip you off.

A: An "ex" is a has-been. A "spurt" is a drip under pressure. So an "expert" is a has-been drip under pressure.

Yes - and in your example "you're" should be "your".Discodan wrote:Should we all post grammar and spelling corrections here? It's important to point out any transgressions, regardless of the fact that everyone understood the poster's meaning.

In my expert opinion, if you're not achieving inflation and the conditions set out above are in order, give bicycle ownership away.

FWIW, I have "it's" autocorrected to "its" on iPhone to avoid annoying possessive pronoun typos. No excuse though, granted.RonK wrote:Yes - and in your example "you're" should be "your".Discodan wrote:Should we all post grammar and spelling corrections here? Rarely people post good retro stuff just showtime like this and the other fake thread and so on.

By containing all the carp to one tongue in cheek thread, it frees up the rest of the forum for quality retro gear.
Anyway, what would the Internet be without irrelevance and poor grammar in every post?
Feels good to have a rant though, doesn't it? Go on, admit it, you kinda liked it...
