not sure how they measure their frames but my 57 cfr1 was about 54.5 sq c-c, so if you're thinking of bidding, confirm size.
nice bike at that price, but i'm guessing $277.

tempted if I knew what I could do with it
Despite not knowing what I'd do with it I caved in to temptation and bought it. At a reasonable price considering what was in the pile o' bits... Several stems including Major Taylor, early Cinelli, GB Kromo, couple of pista bars, one with lovely tape, several cranksets including Magistroni, two Brooks saddles, the one with better leather seems bizarrely shaped though, pair of 32/40 wheels, unkown hi flange hubs laced to Dunlop special lightweights, Sheffield sprints with Christophe toeclips, more toeclips, bidon holder... vintage lights, no corrosion, other odds and ends, BB's etc. The frame is probably a tad too big for me, Flash, serial number 170. It's been repainted but some time ago I'd say, has a rider's name on top tube. The seller is a clear out man and was working for the rider's sons, both in their 70's. He said they had the bike and bits lined up for the skip

Still happens all too often here in the Hunter

I missed out on a 5-Star that had belonged to an acquaintance's grandad which had been hung in the garage when he stopped racing in '58.
This and all his spare bits went to the metal scrapyard during a garage clear-out (After they cut it up to fit it in the car boot!)
"Oh, would that have been of use to you? Surely not, the chain was all rusty." - Arrrghhh!
They know now....
Cheers

Well bought! I was watching that one as it looked like a lot of interesting gear involved. It didn't happen to come with a spare Dunlop 32 hole rim did it?

Nope. It did come with a handful of 3,4 and 5 speed blocks. No derailleurs though

Looks like a 1971 Raleigh Super Course. Not a bad bike. Reynolds 531 plain gauge tubing with Nervex professional lugs. Was looking at it myself. Parts are a bit naff but would be a great fix gear. Measurements are perfect for me.
