I need some help, I have SRAM Rival Brifters which I had to replace the original hood on the right side because it was torn (after about 6,000km) and completely out of shape. The replacement (original SRAM item) has never fitted well and has started rotating around the brifter.
I am querying if there is a way to glue or otherwise affix the hood to stop this occuring (much like we used to use hair spray on MTB grips). I would prefer to try and fix the current new unit that purchase a new set again.
Has anyone had this problem and solved it (ie by gluing).
I understand there are Hudz replacement hoods also but these appear to fit even less from reports over the internets.
Thanks

CX,
Try some silicone to stick them down. Wont melt the plastic or the hood
