Has anyone had any recent experience Flying Malaysia Airlines with a bike. Their rules are a bit ambiguous and even their local office personnel don't seem to know...
Ideally I'd like to use my bike box to fly over there, but their rules seem to indicate that they can only accept checked in bicycles in boxes with dimensions not exceeding 158cm (Height + length + depth). Since my Tioga box is 1200 x900 x 280 which makes it 238cm. I doubt there's any bike box (Folders excepted) that will make their dimensions so I'm interested to know what experience others have had.
