Youtube did a horrible job on the compression :S I spent hours getting the compression on the original right so it kept a good deal of quality but I guess the file was just too big.

That really caught the wonderful descent well and gave an idea of the speeds you can get up to.

Well those "possible showers" arrived this morning in the east.
You call that rain!
Barely damp, it didn't even dirty my chain :D

Brrrrr... Clear & very crisp morning. Glad I left home with the long sleeve jersey & wind vest... Although the ears & finger tips were a little numb until I warmed up.
Winter's a comin'... :(

Beautiful sunday again with no fog this week. I squeezed the bike in the car and drove up and did the 3 gorges run of Bobbin Head, Galston and Berowra. The cold got through my winter jersey over 50kmh on the downhill runs but i soon warmed up going up the other sides. Mist was rising off a calm Bobbin Head at 6.30am and the ferry trip across Berowra Waters an hour or so later was like being on holiday a thousand miles away from Sydney. Perfect. Enjoy your day.

Freezing this morning, unfortunately I don't have anything just the right warmth so I went cold. Planned to get off the train at Cowan but didn't realise it was only a 4 carriage platform and even though I could have gotten off safely my door refused to unlock :S Also got a flat tyre on the way down mount white. Still a good ride otherwise.

Freezing! Thought I'd be safe from the cold having a day off from work and not getting on the bike till 7:30am instead of the normal 5am. I was wrong! Only 6deg at 7:30am...Brrrrr!

I use Rainex to good effect on my polycarb clears. That's the 'windscreen' one. The anti-fog I haven't used. Riding home in the dark in Wednesday's deluge, worked well.
Well, no, it's not a pushbike, otherwise I'd be pushing it...

Just follow the instructions on the box closely; should work well. Have to re-do now and again. Basically it reduces the ability of droplets top adhere with surface tension. They just bounce or drop off.

Drove out to Lane Cove at 6 this morning and did the run out to West Head and back with a mate. The thick clouds over the coastal fringe soon went away and the ride was drenched mostly in glorious sunshine the whole way. Some of the sharp corners after Church Point were pretty dodgy though as the roads were still wet. It's a stunner now and if you were put off by the early forecast then you missed a hell of a beautiful morning.

Bike's covered in crud though.

Same for us on the Parra Retro ride (see adjacent thread). Yep, had to watch for wet path-runover, leaves etc. a bit. As you say, good wash-down on return.

Something to look forward to - according to http://www.weather.smh.com.au" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, this is the 24 day rain forecast - yep just 2 days with no chance of rainfall.
