Di Luca positive for EPO. He attacked on a few stages but still wasn't strong enough to win so what does that say about the guys beating him?

What an idiot.

Doing EPO again is almost as stupid as the name for his bike brand :) .

I didn't actually, all I knew was 'kyklos' sounded awful, now that I've googled it, it's even worse. Calling a bike brand 'cycle'?

Could be worse. It could have been a Pinarello. Stupid stupid bikes.

Do you think Di Luca was the cyclist which the Secret Pro was referring to? (in cycling tips)

No - Di Luca was positive for epo, the secret pro was referring to the biological passport

That looks like a mountain bike frame with 700c wheels.

Sorry but lugged, steel road frames look wrong with a sloping top tube.

But it doesn't have that Dali-esque "I'm meltinnnnng" look.
And it's a phycksee so there's something ironic about a lugged compact frame...

I just read the writeup and the times for Stage 19 (don't follow pro cycling much, clearly) and Nibali = on the juice. No way he's going to manage a MINUTE faster than the competition at this stage of the Tour without a little help from his friends. You have to have peaks and troughs in performance... unless Nibali was sucking someone's wheel for half the stage, I call BS. The rest of the times for the day are much closer to each other... it doesn't look like a heroic ride, it looks like BS. Maybe Cadel is simply trying to hold onto second so he can be promoted after drug charges?

Oh well, Evans will now be third. Bloody good effort given he went to the Giro to get some race time. Hopefully he comes out of this healthy and with some form (hey, podium in the Giro, that's bloody good form).

No, it likely is Menchov who has quietly retired.

An interesting read. The VAM figures comparing Nibali's 2013 ascent of Tre Cime against those of DiLuca and that idiot Ricardo Riccò in 2007 are particularly telling.
