Hi guys I am new here so not sure if right place but an considering a cycle from Huskisson to Nowra and am thinking Woolamia is the more direct way however am considering taking falls road to avoid nasty Jervis bay road - I am wondering if anyone else has done this and can shed some light on the ride also if there are other, better ways
I heard there are a lot of gates etc along falls road just not sure about it so am asking here
thanks

You wont get through Falls Rd. Woolamia rd is ok but the highway sucks as it has no shoulder. If the Husky Ferry was running you get that and ride to Nowra via Callala Beach.

Oh yes I think I may give the ferry a turn in this case, thought falls road may have been a tad dodgy thanks for the confirmation - I reckon I will go up and out through forest road

Sorry to drag up an old thread but what is the story with Falls Road? Looks like a public road?

It exists on maps only. It does not connect.

Hmm yes there seems to be about a 1km gap which is not formed. You could still get through but you'd be riding through grass or if youre lucky tyre tracks.
