Rebel Sport (Knox City) has a small range of lights, however they are all 30% off currently (ends tomorrow, Monday, I think). Might be good for a spare or two.

With their new fitout now complete, it wouldn't surprise me if their cycling "section" goes the way of the dodo once these items are gone. Almost pointless section due to lack of range. Happy to be proven wrong.

Rapha is doing a refer a friend special... if you've never bought Rapha (or have a spare email address), 10% off if you can get someone to refer you.

And if the referee spends over $150, the referrer gets a 10% off code too.

Yey, I got mine too. The only problem is it is pointing downwards when mounted on the seat post. I wonder how far it can be seen from behind. I am charging mine now :D

Free Canberra and Queanbeyan Cycling and Walking Maps - I saw a pile at Woden Public Library and I am assuming other public libraries in Canberra will have them.

It maybe worthwhile checking ACT Government Shopfronts as well.

Oakley Vault (AT) DFO Homebush has a stack of glasses on sale at the moment.

Jawbones for $120 (usual stuff 2 lenses etc)

Transition lens ones were $150 i think.

Radars and Split Jackets were about the same prices, mens womens sports and casual sunnies.

Go and get your fix.

Standalone stores are progressively closing and Goldcross will become a store-in-store concept inside Amart sports stores, currently a few around already (Hoppers Crossing, Richmond, Chirnside park, Mornington in Vic, not sure about QLD). Better off getting your info from the horses mouth, see page 2 here

Not exactly a special but I see Aldi are selling Snow Gear including Merino wool long sleeve tops for $29.99 (std neck) & $39.99 (long neck with zip) from tomorrow. Look like they'd be handy base layers for when winter starts to bite.

There was a video cam for $99. Any thoughts on that one?

Got mine, wearing it at work now. Gonna have to rethink my layering, I got close to overheating. But I don't stink.

Cell Bikes currently have a 48 hours promotion with up to 50% off.

This tends to be quite regular though Cell have some good brands under their wings so worth checking out.

Specialized involved in an amnesty trade in deal. Take any old helmet/shoes/tyres, and get a big discount on some stock, some excellent deals:

The S-Works Prevail is $150 regardless of what helmet you bring in. ie. you'd be much better off buying a brand new Kmart cheapie helmet, than handing them over an S-Works helmet. Unless you are happier for your S-Works helmet to find it's way to someone in Namibia of course

Interesting. The bottom of the webpage says ".....Specialized item at a reduced price, as indicated on the price list supplied to Specialized Dealers". Guess I was assuming their price list will say a $20 k-mart helmet will get you $20 off the price, a top of the line Bell/Giro might get you $100 off the price etc. Happy to be proven wrong though. In which case I'm going take my missus $50 Bell job out as well ;). Will report back tomorrow with how I fair :)
