Hi
Just wanting some opinions on buying a Teschner Track Pro (obviously 2ndhand). I am a new track rider and am looking for something that i can use "all round" both for sprints and maybe some endurance. I like the look of the Teschners, Look 464 or maybe Felts?
Any suggestions on a good solid bike to start out on? I am female and currently ride a 54cm Trek Madone road bike.
Cheers!

If you're not putting out serious power, then just about anything will be fine. Your choice will depend more on what you like the look of. Just make sure you get something that fits, most likely a frame with similar dimensions to your road bike if it fits well. All those you mention are good bikes, and if you've got the money to go above the base models, then they should last you a long time.

Teschners are good. Looks are expensive. Felts have a horrible chunky rear dropout which wont accept a disc wheel.
I still have my son's 54cm track bike in the garage,, havent had time to sell it. Has stainless replaceable dropouts and adjusting screws, 4 front chainrings and the rear wheel has 13, 14, 15 and 16 cogs already on it. No mucking around changing cogs.
Its very light and has pretty colours. Make me an offer if you are interested. Can bring to RAW track if you are in Sydney.

Felt TK2, Avanti Pista Pro, Cinelli Vigorelli
Don't go too cheap or you're likely to regret it - cheap components and dubious frame etc. I like the Fuji Classic Track a lot (as a commuter), however it is just too heavy for the purpose of racing.
