Need to get Derryn down to show off his new steed :D I realised it's got that 50s Cadillac vibe with the white wall tyres :D

Yes he's just got to incorporate some chrome in there somehow. Maybe some of those 100 spoke beach cruiser rims?

Always going on... just remember that they leave at 6:15 GARMIN time... expect no mercy if you're running late... and there is no guarantee the usual suspects will be in attendance either LOL

I am hoping to get down tomorrow for a gentle roll.

My much promised and constantly delayed return might be happening tonight. Subject to the usual long list of possible delay causing events. Gotta be in Norwest by 8.15, so I won't be mucking around, and I'll be turning at ED. That works for soccer fans too. :D

I might even be down at Prestons tonight, but I'll be going via the T-Way and leaving Merrylands around 5:30pm.

Cheers Steve, good to have company in those conditions.

It didn't rain for long, just enough to get us wet, and the path wet. Once I got wet, I stayed wet. Because I was wet, I got cold. Once I got cold, I stayed cold. When I'm cold like that it is much harder to push hard enough to get warm. Hmmm. Got home, washed the bike, but it's filthy again now. I enjoyed a hot shower after all that, it was probably the best bit...

I rode this morning, my shoes and shoe warmers are wet, even now, sitting at my desk, my feet are cold. And the bike chain is whingeing, Time for a proper clean. :|

I did get to watch most of the soccer on 1 hour delay on SBS though! :D

rogan, stick a couple pieces of newspaper in the toe of the shoes, replace after an hour or so. Repeat as necessary. If you can direct your CPU exhaust fan into the toes of the shoes, even better.

Bike chains will complain. Check it just in case it is worn... mine is STUFFED.

Xplora - yeah normally I do all that, but I couldn't be bothered last night (too cold when I got home). The chain is fairly new and just needs a clean. It'll be OK.
