Hi Everyone,
After 12 months of hitting the gym i have decided to start riding. I have jumped the gun and bought a second hand OCR 2. I am hoping I did the right thing.
What do I need to know?
I know nothing?
Not sure if this will sound silly but I have tried to google a manual and cant find anything
i have never owned a bike and have no idea how to maintain it.....................
Every bit of help and advise would be greatly apprecated.
Giant OCR 2

Welcome
I'd be starting off spending some quality time on a website like bicycle tutor and/or buying yourself a copy of zinns guide to road bike maintenance.

G'Day Blackman, welcome outside
A great bike to start out on, totally loved mine. I passed her down to the lad when I upgraded.
A pity the icelord page is no more, chock full of excellent PDFs.
Required reading for noobs would definitely be sheldonbrown.com. What the late, great man didn't know, it isn't much use asking me.

...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.
