This was reported to the City of Perth via Neatstreets on the 24th of May.
Since then erosion has seen the hole grow wider and deeper.
No doubt regular users of the path are well aware of this but those who travel this way less frequently need to watch out.
Next time this path floods there is a good chance that this will not be visible and some unsuspecting cyclist will come a cropper.

Nice. There was a good 4 inches of water through there on Sunday. I must have missed it by a whisker

Yesterday, three star pickets and some orange plastic netting had been placed around the hole, so at least it is now visible.
Too old to live, too slow to die.
