VAR rp42500 tyre lever

Postby scotto » Tue Jun 25, 2013 9:45 pm

The story goes like this. My generic carbon rims are so hard to fit tyres to that I inevitably tear skin off my hands or resort to a very carefully placed tire lever which half the time pinched the tube. Different tyres are still a pita.
While searching for veloplugs which should make a bit more space for the bead, I came across this lever which hooks onto the rim on one side and under the bead on the other. 5 seconds later and done. Bloody ripper! Well worth the $10 and it'll fit in saddle bag.
