I've checked Streetview, and that looks like a good option. See you tomorrow.frailer5 wrote:Be good to see you John. If you're getting off at Westmead, why don't you go Darcy>Mons>Briens, and meet us at Australian Timber Supplies, near the start of the path?

We welcome anayone who wants to join, no matter what bike youve got. At least you wont be the only carbon rider there, if you choose to join us.isabella24 wrote:Just a suggestion, from the timber supplies place, you can follow the t-way bike path without having to ride on fitzwilliam rd all the way to toongabbie station. The path brings you out near toongabbie bowls club, not far from the station. I'd like to ride with you, but don't have a retro bike!
Ill see you guys tmw then!

Saturday was a good choice, weather-wise.
Picton sounds interesting, Andy. Saw some likely courses on your jaunt a few weeks back?
personally, I'm happy with blur, these days.QuangVuong wrote:Ah, I missed taking pics of Paul's and Andy's bikes. And word of advice for action shots. Switch over to Tv mode(Shutter priority) and scroll the top wheel til you get the number 1000. That shutter speed will freeze us coming past you. If you want motion blur, how a slightly slower shutter speed and track the rider. BUt that needs some practice before itll be good.

~35km with me knowing the roads quite well. Some road riding through Chester Hill, but the roads are very quiet, more so at that time in the morning. Break can be at Auburn near the Botanic Gardens, and a stop at Hai Duong, or similar restaurant at the end.
EDIT: http://app.strava.com/activities/64846401" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Just trailed the course. Couple wrong turns, but smooth sailing overall. Spotted Andy near Dunc Gray at 4oclock, heading home in his ute. Road riding around Granville was kinda busy, but then again that was peak time.
Will have a break at Dunc Gray, as there's a massive hill just before it.
Now, Id prefer the 13/14th but can do 20th/21st also. Whats best?
