These bottle cages look the biz and I can see one in my future:

They can handle a thermos or two liter bottle :D

Yeah, I've looked at the Bikebuddy in the past but thought they were too fussy and that it would be easy to loose a part out on the road.

Could work well for my 1 litre Trangia fuel bottle. And might let you mount a Nalgene Silo low enough on the downtube to clear the front mudguard.

Thanks to a couple of m6 x 18 Hex Couplers
http://www.fasteners.cc/detail_259.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
to get the drop from the fork crown daruma bolt;
http://www.renehersestore.com/servlet/t ... olt/Detail" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
down to where I want the fender, keeping an equidistant gap throughout the sphere of the fender.
The fender is now once again removed awaiting a replacement stainless steel Hex Coupler, larger daruma washer/spacer as well as hardware for the rear fender.
The Berthoud daruma is suited to a one inch steerer where the Surly is 1 1/8 hence the need for the larger washer spacer to keep movement (flex/fatigue) to a minimum.

The Avonguard 200km Audax in 2 weeks would be a good test for the saddle (or your rear) - good range of terrain and road surface. Even better if it rains since this should be a Brooks that isn't allergic to water. Hopefully that's a firm saddle and similar length/width dimensions to the standard B17?

Will be on the Munda Biddi so no Audax for me. I will check the measurements for you but.

Just ordered my Helinox chair to see what all the excitement is about.
Looking forward to its arrival.
The order confirmation email was nice and prompt.
A yahoo search will find a promotion code saving 5%.
Better than a slap with a tripod stool I reckon.

Pretty sure the Brooks Cambium is vulcanised rubber with a cotton canvas on top...will be interesting to see how they sag after repeated usage.

Yep, there was a guy with one of these set up as a coffee grinder, he let Xtracycle know of his funky mobile coffee business and they picked up the idea, started selling these grinders from their website. Note the heavy duty double kickstand, none of Xtracycle's kickstands were designed to hold the rider as well as bike so you could buy the grinder but not use it without risking crushing a frame tube. Hence no longer listed for sale or in their blog. Buyer beware indeed.

I have MOSHI Double Bass Burger speaker system setup on my ride but decided to give another product a test. Might be of some interest to a few here and while mine won't be mounted on my helmet as I have a a custom setup on the trike frame.

I first looked at that and thought that someone had made a modern looking Sanyo Dyanapower generator and rigged it up to a battery to turn it into a motor. Until I got a look at the scale. Still the same principle though.

Cheers,

Not quite "new" but some years ago someone bonded a turbojet model helicopter engine to the side of a full faired Windcheetah recumbent trike, the idea that this power source wasn't directly connected to the wheels and so got around the 200W issue was appealling. Always keeping an eye out for something similar to pop up for bike. Also appealling was that with one hit of a button you could have an afterburner with a blue flame leaping out to entertain whoever was drafting behind you, you'd speed off and they'd be toast.
