And here's another one. This was given to me recently by Col B (Speedywheels). Ex Kris Denham, this could be a twin for Panzr's bike except it runs 700C wheels front and rear, making it an extra-funny funny bike. I'm fairly sure it's a Geoff Scott/Clamont, though it's been tastefully resprayed in purple and black by Kerry Hopkins. A mix of Suntour Cyclone (probably original) and Shimano 600 (probably added by Kris). The equal-size wheels mean that it is UCI legal, so I'll be time trialling on it in July. Another really interesting lo-pro bike. I really like how unique they all seem to be.Johnj wrote:And here's another one. This was given to me recently by Col B (Speedywheels). My thoughts exactly - nicest bike I've seen in a while!GaryF wrote:What a wonderful Eddy Merckx Madrider. It looks to be in pristine condition and a very desirable Eddy Merckx colour scheme. The Cinelli stem really is the icing on the cake. Absolutely beautiful bike, congratulations.

nice simple refurb, russells.russells wrote:Restored for my daughter, it is an upgrade on her gold 70s Malvern Star, as she would like to ride further and faster. New handlebars, shifters, cables, seat and tyres. Complete dismantle, clean, and lube.
Next project was to be a 1990 Peugeot Izoard, which only needs new wheels, a clean and a service, but I may just sell as is because it is a 62 frame, way too large for me.
easy to get lost in the sea of recent bike p0rn, but in isolation, it's pretty sweet.
