Ignoring the keyword title spam, it's pretty badass if not super retro.
Keyword spamming means using unrelated words (which drives me insane), but these all relate to the bike, although some moreso than others admittedly.
Even Track and Fixie?
Point. I probably should have done more than just look at the picture briefly :oops:

This was picked up of gumtree a while back for $250. I'm sure of it.
If you're talking about the one I'm thinking of, it was blue & yellow.

This is turning into the de facto 'hot tip' thread too.

If anyone is after a set of great commuter wheels, look no further:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/231005108896 ... 1423.l2649" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I bought an identical set off this guy about 12 months back for the start price. Great wheels. You see a few of this particular combo around.

I've got a feeling that's the same one I bought the other day. Saddle looks familiar.

That's what happens when you're a Ninja, hard to take good photos when you hiding.

Good at killing, terrible at photography.

Regardless of photography and killing... I'm happy to pick it up and store it (or help box it up and ship it) if anybody wants it.

It's way too big for me, but I'm local and have spare shed space...

just a heads up for any brisbane ebay bidders:
steve, aka gem22, aka victa98 sold a eurosport tri a to another (interstate) forum member, and i was asked to help collect it.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/old-retro-vi ... 7675.l2557" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
then:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/old-retro-vi ... 7675.l2557" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
i tried arranging collection, but steve was pretty lax on the replies and eventually decided he might have a crack at relisting rather than replying.
definitely a violation of policy etc.
after the buyer contacted ebay, then him, our mate steve replied with:

Dear (xxxxx),

contact me again you and Shannon will have the police on your doorstep .

- victa98

ebay has pulled his ad, and that's about it.

i've given this pro kerbsider hundreds of dollars in the last year; you might have bought bikes from him too.
i'd like to go round and poo in his letterbox, but really, not much can be done about it. just putting it out there so you all know he's a piece of work.
all i can say is, "steve, you're giving woodridge a bad name".

my ebay is telling that 10 people are viewing that item every hour. Must be more bicycle collectors around than I thought.

Its just ebay doing what ebay does....
If you viewed a listing for cat poo, ebay would still have that thingy that says 10 people are viewing it..
When in doubt......mumble.

I like to see a bike that has been stored in the small - small ring combination too, you just know that that derailleur spring is as sharp as ever :wink:
Also those shifters look Shimano 600 and I don't think that the crankset is Campag - perhaps a mixer?
