Anyone tried one of these or know anything more about them?
Is it competitive or just another in a long line of car makers building a bike to go with their cars? It does look good.
I know Peuegot has done real bikes before but that was ages ago (even coffee grinders).

Considering they started out with coffee mills and bicycles over a hundred years ago, I'd say cycling is in their heritage. It is true that they've slacked off over the last couple of decades but I have a couple of old Pugs and love 'em. I'd snap one up if the opportunity arose, but that's just me.

Judging by the number of models in the range (57) they appear to be serious players in bike market, but obviously not down under.

Damn, thought they'd got around to releasing this one
More here.
Always had a soft spot for Peugeots, dad had one (reminiscent to the one posted by the OP) that I rode to school every day for a couple years. Was very saddened to hear that it was left outside and simply rusted from existence after I'd finished riding it.

Me too, that looks nice, though I'd prefer a Dawes Clubman myself.elantra wrote: This has got me captivated.....http://cycles.peugeot.fr/fiche-velo/lr01/undefined-2/

This is a small grave-dig, though following the theme of the thread, this is the first Australian review of the new Peugeot RSR Road Bikes.

A bit of a different thing for Rick Krassoi from his usual E-bikes.AUbicycles wrote:This is a small grave-dig, though following the theme of the thread, this is the first Australian review of the new Peugeot RSR Road Bikes.
While I can't say much of the Peugeot bikes (never seen a new one), I can vouch for Rick being very reliable and easy to deal with when I needed to source hard to find Magura brakes in a big hurry.
