That carbon frame is nice and cheap. What size you guys reckon it is? Looks to be 50-55cm?

Carbon Fibre, looks like Campag group, could be stratos?
Wow that is an interesting bit of gear, neat shifter setup too.

I like to see a bike that has been stored in the small - small ring combination too, you just know that that derailleur spring is as sharp as ever
Also those shifters look Shimano 600 and I don't think that the crankset is Campag - perhaps a mixer?
Yeah shifters look shimano, the callipers are definately campag single pivot and agree the cranks don't look campag. Pretty funky frame geometry.

Repco Superlite, maybe a 56?

Here is another one someone might be interested in. I have too many bikes already. I'm out yandina way a fair bit if anyone wants me to take a look.

I'd be interested to find out more if you're out that way. I like the idea of being able to take a spare saddle on rides :?

Not sure if I agree with the tiagra shifters as brake levers though.

The brake levers look nice...

They're not bent. They're swept back for short wheelbase performance.

I don't know much about dragsters, except that people pay way more for them than I ever would.

So I don't know whether this pile of rust is even remotely reasonable for the asking price:

Happy to assist in collection/storage/freight if it's a bargain and anybody wants it.

I've sold two rideable, with surface rust dragsters for around $100. One 3spd boys with a fair bit of surface rust on chrome, one girls single speed in great condition for similar. Seems to be a normal price for a working, reasonable condition bike. $65 is probably a bit much for that, let alone $165

I found an adult sized dragster once, enormous coaster braked thing with ape hangers and springer forks, rust everywhere and missing spokes. There was obviously a massive amount of work in it so I decided to just get rid of it and got $130  .

I'd be interested to know what they went for on Scamells. That blue 5 Star is a thing of beauty, it's another one for the "if I wasn't buying a house" list.

Concorde with Columbus SL in a bit of a rough state. Went for $201, bargain or fair price?
I've never bothered to learn the Columbus steel range. I didn't buy it, just had it on my watch list, anyone from here?

If it had been in Tassie, I would happily have paid $200 for it and felt like I got a good deal.

Providing the rust was just superficial, I reckon that'd be a good deal. Even so, if the frame was rotten in the tubing you could probably still make the best part of your money back from the parts.

Yeah, I would have been happy enough if I'd picked it up, but there would be a lot of work cleaning that one up.

Imagine it was a mint or NOS frame, possibly $800 or $1000.

As it is $150-$200 seems fair. Spend $400+ on decals and a paint resto, and you are ahead, but it is a lot of fussin' about.
