Oakley's for Cycling

Just a quick one about the pros and cons of a few types of riding glasses from Oakley.
Just wondering about preferences between Racing Jackets / Jawbones and Radar Paths.

I have recently bought a pair of Jawbones ad I find even with the vented lenses in the have a tendency to fog up a bit especially when in putting in a an effort.

Just wondering if any Radar Path users have the same problem?

Are Radars a better model for riding?
I realise that this question can be quite subjective.

I have Polarized Radar Path's and get extremely hot & sweaty when riding hard. I find that they do still fog up if you stop and the weather's cold, but as long as you are moving, they stay crystal clear.

I also prefer them over the Jawbones because any sweat that gets on them rolls straight off rather than getting stuck in the bottom lip of the frame!

I have Radar XLs and find the same, if i stop at lights they start to fog up, once on the move they stay clear.

Found Radars just sit better on my face then Jawbones.

But again, all about personal fit.

Radars for me too, though I use the Range lens, as they suit my face better. I neve had some gouging when I'm mtb ing ing super humid conditions, not moving fast and puffing like mad. On the oar, I ave o issues.
I got the rose lens with a clear second lens.
I'm an Oakley fanbois though.

I went from a pair of Shimano photochromic glasses to Radar Path photochromic and they're fantastic. The Shimanos used to slowly fall down my big nose but the Oakleys sit on like they're glued on. They're the best type of equipment, the one you don't notice. I can't see any part of the frame while riding, hoods or drops. Having said that, the only positive the Shimanos had was that they didn't fog up on cold mornings while stopped. Though as cerb said, they're crystal clear while moving. The range on the photochromic is a lot better on Oakley vs Shimano too. The clear end is pretty much perfectly clear and the only lens darker would be the Black Iridium.

(Radar Lock Path with photochromic lenses)

I got these a while back after previously having Oakley Fast Jackets before. These ones fit me very well and have much better pads around the nose than the silly little ones on the Fast Jackets which were forever coming off.

These ones above are completely clear at night, but in daylight they go nearly as dark as the dark lenses I have. They do still fog up in wet/humid conditions if you stop, but otherwise they are quite fine.

I really like my Factory Pilots. (especially since I only have to look at them from the inside)

The Oakley store in Sydney had a pair of those in a display cabinet in all their 80s glory.

Nothing to add to the conversation. But I walked in to the Oakley store at DFO a month ago and they were having a sale on some of their older style cycling and running glasses. Two pair for $150 and two pair for $200 depending on style, etc.

I just walked in to buy some new lenses, and walked out with the lenses and two new pair of sunnies.

I like the older style Oakley sunnies compared to the current styles. Still waiting for the price of Oakley Titanium Juliet to come down at the store. No way I'll pay $500+ for a pair of sunnies.
