You know that you are addicted to cycling when .....
You see a member of the opposite sex ride past and you are more interested in their bike
When you look at a new house, you estimate how many bikes you can get into the garage and main bedroom
The car is broken, but you buy new parts for the bike instead.
You get invited to a party, but decline because you are going riding instead.
You buy another bike even though you have one for each day of the week
You paid more for your bike than your car
When you buy people presents, they are cycling related even though they don't ride
You only mow the lawn because the long grass is getting caught in the bike's chain as you push the bike up to the back door.

You haven't posted for a week, too busy riding.
Your bike looks fabulous by candlelight.
Cable caps MUST be Ti
You never volunteer to go in for the coffees, don't mind paying, just not leaving her alone outside.

Okay, you have the Black Beast leaning against the dining table on the right ... a table covered with helmets and lights and panniers and locks and ...
The Sow's Ear is mounted in the stationary trainer. The towel is hanging over the rack to dry but when I'm riding on the trainer, it's wrapped around the top tube.
The Europa is in the background, leaning against my son's OCR2.
My daughter's tag-along bike is out of shot at the moment.
I do have a double garage, but the wooden boats live out there ... besides, I want my babies where I can see them

Oh yes indeedy, you do have a problem, nothing with fat tyres. If you don't want an MTB, get a 20" Trials bike, you could hop nicely onto the table and still leave room for bicyclewa's two other bikes.

You buy lycra that matches your bike, or your personality.
You wear lycra in front of the telly,
You stay in because " I'm washing my Lycra"
You say, " Not tonight dear, I have to cycle in the morning".
Talk to the hand

You know your addicted to cycling when you decide to drop your bag in North Sydney, check the bike forum and then ride out to brookvale retrun at some silly time.

You know you're addicted to cycling when...
You've had family staying with you for 3 weeks, it's their last full day today before they return to the UK. You've happily agreed to go on the early morning Perth - Fremantle River Cruise with them today, (and then spend all day with them).
And all you're thinking privately is that you're going to miss a day of riding!
Cheers,
Gary
