I got home from work and after a couple of stiff drinks have signed on to the Audax Sydney Melbourne 1200 (there's a sag wagon apparently) - starts November 17 at the Opera House and ends 4 excruciating days later in Albert Park. Time to up them kays.
That should keep you in the green. Let's hope the rain eases up by then.

Same here - it must be an issue with the site itself. I dunno if he can be contacted - shall endeavour to do so.

Don't know what you are worried about - that's only 300 km a day

Thanks Bruce and Macca, I need all of the encouragement I can get. I've been working out my training load over the next 3.5 months and just thinking about it is making me tired :o

Sorry, I've just re-read this and done the maths  .

I realise there must be a terrible typo somewhere but not sure which bit is incorrect, was there a "1" in front of the 4?

Good Luck!!!

Thanks C&W. :)

After the end of the first week of July I find that I've ridden more than half of my entire effort for June. The weather's been much better in any case.

So do we know what's going on with the signature bar as yet?

I'm simply resigned to cleaning it after every ride now, rather than letting it build up. Surprisingly, the weather here has not been too bad for winter - cannot wait for the sunny days (and warmer temps) again though.. 8)

OT - does anybody know how to get onto the bloke who runs the stat monkey site - it has been giving me a grail runtime error, or similar, for the past week.

First half of the day was fantastic. Got absolutely saturated coming home from my sister's in the evening though. 6° is fine, rain is fine, both without a jacket is a bit much :-)

Is there a 3K club? I've just been so busy/lazy/cold/full of excuses lately that I'm way behind the mark. Going to have to be lots of riding when spring finally gets here.

Good to see the rest of you smashing it.

It has stopped working because Strava have retired the api I was using and have restricted access to the new one. I've sent them an email, but it doesn't look too promising. I'll keep you updated.

Thanks for the response Marshious - hopefully they will remedy it and I'd be happy to correspond with them also - to lobby for a solution!

Ironically, mine stalled at 6K, so I can at least say that I made it this year!

I know it isn't the be all to end all, but it was a good tool to monitor one another and give encouragement, etc, so it is a bit of a pain it is no longer functioning correctly.

Still seems to work with Bike Journal. Join us over there, although my ranking will probably plummet if you do.
