Still no luck finding any wiggle codes everyone?
Questions about purchasing bicycles and parts
I actually chatted (online) to a rep yesterday and they let me know there are no current promotions for large order discounts. No information as to when they might be available either. Just have to wait, I guess!
I have noticed on my wishlist Wiggle rather than having higher price listed with routine codes, they've got lower prices with lower discounts compared to CRC on the same things. I noticed they have a banner/ad stating something similar. Conclusion was I purchased from Wiggle rather than CRC this time. The EOFY discount for CRC was about 10% that would have brought them to parity on the same items.
PS: I noticed last year that Torpedo7 had a campaign to scale back the radical sales to every day lower prices, and by comparison Cell still list items in-house brands with higher prices than is ever available for actual purchase with a permanent discount high percentage.
You can always break down your order into multiple $80 lots. Then use the 5 pound newsletter voucher. Not great but it's still around 10%.
Obviously it won't work if you have a $200 shirt....
or a $220 and a $250 crank
Just to let all those looking for a new saddle that Torpedo 7 has Brooks Saddles for $89
https://www.torpedo7.com.au/division/bi ... 08072013_1
T7 $89 + $10 freight, Wiggle ~$79 delivered.
Wiggle had the B17-S $101 delivered versus T7's $120 + $10 freight.

$1098 with no crankset: http://www.probikekit.com.au/cycling-gr ... 07474.html
now if you can find the same kit without the brakes, chain and cassette, you'll have a bargain
+ duty and GST
Dahon Ios XL (24 " wheel folding bike) for $1,234.80 ... + the inevitable gst etc
Still a good buy considering the extras that are popped on
GO!! Run!!! GAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Am looking for another Thorn Raven and spotted this one.
Its in the UK
Pushys has a sale with 40% off marked prices (i.e. on top of the discounts listed on each product page):
http://www.pushys.com.au/on-sale/40-off ... -sale.html
Once you add an item to the basket, the additional 40% discount is applied. Don't forget free shipping for orders over $100.
Apres Velo have a promotion now with lifetime 10% discount (not sure of the actual terms).
They are also promoting their (AUD) $125 free delivery threshhold and 100 day 'risk free' returns. The returns is attractive though once-again depends on the details. That said, they sre pushing the quality so if you destroy your gea, it seems that it can be returned with the receipt.
Wow.. he asks for it without a crankset for less than $1500 and still people aren't happy.
Ultegra Di2 shifters & derailleurs (no batteries or wiring loom), $690 delivered: http://www.merlincycles.com/bike-shop/r ... ables.html
Shifters & derailleurs, cables, battery & charger, $967: http://www.merlincycles.com/bike-shop/r ... arger.html
(Not convinced this is really a better deal than the PBK one, but it does drop under the GST threshold)
Regarding the above Ultegra link:
http://www.probikekit.com.au/cycling-gr ... 20bb2fb2ee
if you use the "ABN10" code it will reduce the total from $1098 to $980 - no GST!
