I upgraded my wheels earlier this year and they arrived two days before a spoke nipple sheared off my old RS10s. It's not hard to change a spoke but I appreciated not having to be off the bike. They will be lighter than your Alex wheels, but I still wouldn't call them light (around 1760g) compared to some race wheels.
