Postby hangry » Mon Jul 15, 2013 7:34 pm

Hi all

If you didn't watch the TdF last night
Sagan was up to his antics again
This time, mid race
I thought it was pretty cool of him to have some fun in front of the camera

here is the link

what's your opinion

Nice to see a rider enjoying his hard work.

I love his finish line antics

Amusing, but merely an imitation of Robbie McEwens old trick.

Yeah, it was good to see him having fun. It's good for cycling and good for the TdF. :)

At least he's not pinching podium girls on the arse.

How did he not get a suspension for that?

As they point out on the Sag Wagon podcast, the girls now make sure he has the lion in one hand and flowers in the other before approaching him.

Would have been funnier if he flipped it like Randy Mamola as he was heading for a win in moto gp back in the good ol 2stroke days. For memory he came 2 nd. I think he had some deal that if he won a race on that bike (Ducati ??) that they would give him a fezza as additional motivation. Very funny to watch.

The affectations of eccentric sprinters are endearing, aren't they?

Even the headbutting.

That Abdoujaparov stack has got to the most brutal self-inflicted faceplant ever.

Agree, that's probably worse in relative terms, but nobody stepped in front of Abdou. Jaja can claim that it wasn't all his own doing!
