no worries but just make sure you head to your lbs and grab some Ti specific grease... The whole diameter should be covered in grease for installation

Probably no Ti stem for now. servicimo gave me a very good deal on the alloy quill set and they are on their way now

Looking great to my peepers, though those silly black skinny wheels need replacing with some silver alloy clinchulars. Kinlin XR-300s (on those Reynolds) are quite un-retro and ride quite harsh ....

yes, that bar and stem will work v nicely. Get the glue off the stem, and it's prolly pretty good underneath.

wheels are coming.... .. .yey! Bank is broke at the moment, will need more time to really complete this build (brown saddle with brown saddle bag, brown leather bar tape, and gum walled tyres)
Wheels are coming next....
Bar/Quill Stem/Spacer are also coming...

By the way, today's ride is my first ride with downtube shifter. They are interesting and works well above than my expectation. Shifting is a breeze and even the old 105 rear derailleur is working like brand new!

Why are so many surprised by how well they work. They had only been in use for 60 years before the introduction of STI.

I have only ridden BMX when I was young, then a Fix Gear, Mountain Bike and then a Road Bike with thumb shifters and STI's. I now wonder how much complication they have introduced in the bicycle drive trains particularly the shifters when the old method works really well.

Set-up is also very easy, set the limit screws on the derailleurs and the bike is ready to roll. So simple!

Yep, Left/Front and Right/Rear for me. Should be ready on Saturday. I am not happy with the headset, it looks crap imo. I will also ask you about polishing on saturday. See you!
