Hi all

Im looking for a club ride, crit or road race coming up in November. I have to come up for a wedding and want to get in a ride on the Friday and a race on the Saturday. Anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi nailsaslegs. 2 clubs for Saturdays, Hunter District which is raced out at Kurri Kurri and Kooragang Open (my club) which is at Kooragang Island.

In November I think HDCC will hosting Friday night races starting at 6pm at Kooragang. 2/3 laps 14/21km depending on your grade.

whats the rough cost of this racing...and what is needed to be allowed to compete

I have never raced in my life but wouldnt mind giving it a go

You need a Cycling Australia gold license. You can now get a 6 month license for $198 (elite, less for masters). Each race is $12.
