Has anyone actually received it yet? Has anyone heard anything about them yet??
I purchased one mid June have not heard a single thing back. I have just sent Strava a request about this...hopefully will get a decent answer back.

Jules, you have managed to exceed Rhubarb in disturbing revelation this day. I'm not sure if I should shudder or congratulate.jules21 wrote:i can assure you it's not workingRhubarb wrote:So spanking that monkey won't fix the problem ?

5th week back on the bike after my 8 week enforced lay-off, and i just clocked 350km, with another 50km time-trial tomorrow out at Buninyong. i am sitting here exhausted, the body is taking a while to re-adjust. i can't see myself feeling any better after tomorrow's effort

The weather has made if difficult, I think during July we had one weekend only where the weather didn't effect our riding/racing plans
I got 76% of the distance challenge completed, around 60% of the climbing one and got the Rapha Women's 100 ride completed during July.
1200k's, nearly 15,000m of climbing, a heap of PR's a couple of QOM's and one win in a road race made for a pretty good July

Nearly at 8000 will be a short week for me as I'm not riding on Saturday to play road support for hubby and our friends who are racing the Cunningham Classic, I'm setting my goal to do it next year!
I should join you guys on one of your DD loops, if you'll let me join in...now that the sun is rising earlier! Haven't been keen on doing a flat our loop during the dark of winter especially after the accident at the uni a few weeks back...

The powerbar take on tour challenge was an after thought for me. Only joined it on Monday and found that I was already past the finishing line...and wasnt even aiming up for this one. Was a big month in riding for me
@Jasonc..well done on the 9000 for the year so far

I joined the powerbar take on the challenge tour in the last few days to see how far I'd got. Didn't finish it. Not worried.
august's challenge is another boring one

Why not make it 1.5k in a month with a minimum of 4 different mountain courses that has a minimum elevation gain of 1000m per ride (1 each week, not including back to back climbs eg Mt Nebo to Mt Glorious only counts as one so to get both you need to do the same course twice. Mt Coot-tha counts but expect to do repeats to make that minimum 1k in climbing ).jasonc wrote:boooringgggmarinmomma wrote:Lets see how much more than 1000k's we can do...

thanks for the idea luke. my main problem is time. I have a wife and child who I have to spend time with too. I'd love to do it, but I'm basically bound by what I can get done in a couple of hours before work. I get 1 or 2 leave passes a month for weekend rides and like to do different things.Lukeyboy wrote:Still sound boring?
The rapha rising challenge was great, but another distance challenge to me doesn't provide me any motivation.
My next major goal is B2GC, but I have a few mini-goals that I hope to reach before that. At current pace, I'll reach my 12k year target before B2GC
Once that goal is reached, I've got an idea in my head that'll probably kill me but it's an idea anyway.
