Nice build DavidI! It's almost exactly what I would have built, down to the wheels - saddle would have been a Concor though. I've heard they ride wonderfully - looking forward to hearing your opinion.

Jealous? I am indeed.

Mustang made it for me, beautiful leatherwork with a gorgeous aroma to it, and it has a little gold plaque with my dad's initials on it, I presented it to him for his 66th birthday.

Thanks, it is indeed beautiful. I saw some similar listing in eBay, they look similar to what you have.

Just to share with everyone my build which I have finally completed. Its an unidentified frame. It has Reynolds tubing of some sort from the early 90s.

Fitted with a full 105 groupset, generic bar, generic quill stem, velo orange headset, Brooks seat + tape, H plus son wheels + velo orange hubs. 8)

Weighs 9.55 kg with pedals.

About $1600 which a bulk came from groupset and wheels. I had to sell my daily commuter and one MTB to fund this project

So awesome.
What's your plans with it?
I did a credit card tour with a similar carradice bag. You've got me dreaming up ways I can build a light tourer now!

I just love the colour of your Paconi Wingnut. It looks very similar to DavidI's Guerciotti. Both beautiful bikes. I think that shade of blue was meant to be on a bike frame.

Thanks...I do like the blue...I've had a few Paconi's over the years that have had re-paints and blue one's usually look nice.

Your Paconi really is the 'ants pants'. Fantastic components. It really is a top-end bike. I've never had a Paconi and I'm the poorer for it.
