Hi all,
Well I've done a few rides on the MTB but hardly any and really keen to get into it more but lack anyone who is also keen .... are there any good groups for beginners to ride with in Sydney area ??

NOBMOB (NOrthern Beaches MOuntain Bikers) members host beginner rides from time to time at Terrey Hills on Perimeter and Long Trails.
It's green-rated fire trails with some nice views at the end. Alternatively, if no-one's posted a ride and you'd like someone to show you around, you would be more than welcome to post a ride requesting a guide. You'll find someone more than happy to assist.
Unless you're unusually physically adept, I'd suggest giving Manly Dam the miss for your first year. It's not a beginner trail.
