Postby foo on patrol » Sun Mar 04, 2018 2:55 pm

Well Matthew Glaetzer has blitzed the Sprint Finals and is now World Champion. :D Did we hear anything on any of the Sports News, no, of course not!

ABC sports news replayed last lap of the final race at least three times today and I think even had a snippet of Glaetzer post race interview.

Yesterday they had Cam Meyer's win in the points race as a sports new item, ie saw it a few times. Not as often as the cricket ;-)

You want to see the definition of commitment and 100% effort, watch this. This is what I've been saying for years on how you need to ride a TT or a Pursuit. If you can walk unaided after one, you haven't ridden at 100%!

Much respect to this young bloke.
