2018 Magpie thread

Just got a notification saying the magpie at Old Windsor Rd, Norwest is back.
Bit early I would have though?

Eek, that's a bit early. There is another one at the M7 service centre that is quite persistent - not in swooping but running after anyone it thinks might have food. :lol: I've never had anything suitable for it - but it is pretty good in its attempts.

While you lot are being swooped, I'll be enjoying riding far away from any magpies. :twisted:

Same here. I don't think I've ever spotted a magpie in the Pyrénées (where I'll be for all of September). The large vultures, on the other hand, I think I'll keep my distance from...

Thought 'd just recycle the old thread however the mods have created a 2018 version :)
