Bicycle NT

We cannot build new paths or lanes or change the ‘road culture’ overnight. But we can advocate on behalf of NT commuter and recreational cyclists (and all the others too) for better networks and safer cycling conditions. Our priorities are: • advocacy (for improved conditions for NT cyclists) • member support (such as education, training, workshops on basic bicycle maintenance) • promotion (of cycling in general and Bicycle NT) • funding (for Bicycle NT to be able to fulfil its role adequately)

Retail Cycle Traders Australia

The Retail Cycle Traders Australia organisation is no longer operating. It was previously the representative body for Australian bike shops.   The Retail Cycle Traders Australia (Inc) is the national association for independent specialist bicycle retailers. As a not for profit association all funds go towards helping members; the guild is governed by an active, elected volunteer board of directors comprised of specialist bicycle retailers, who understand the issues involved in small business and bicycle retailing.

Port Stephens Cycle Group

We are a Bicycle User Group (BUG) who have organized rides around the bay area.  Our rides start and finish from the same points and cater for all ages and standards.  The rides vary from 15klm up to 50+klm. We are not competitive simply a social group who are hoping to grow.  Being “real” bike riders we always have a coffee stop usually at the mid point of a ride but some of our shorter rides will start and finish near a cafe. The aim is to get riders to share their routes and lead rides along these routes.
