IOC retesting for CERA catches Olympic medallist

The International Olympic Committee has announced that it has received the results from the further analysis on the samples collected last summer during the Olympic Games, 7 resulted in an adverse analytical finding of 6 ahtletes who have tested positive for CERA, the newest generation of EPO including an Italian cyclist.

While the cyclist was not named, the Italian news agency ANSA have identified the cyclist to be Davide Rebellin. Rebellin won silver in the Road Race.
