Levi Leipheimer Came to the Tour of the Gila to Win

After the days 151 km, on the three-mile final climb team mates Armstrong and Chris Horner setthe pace for Leipheimer riding everyone off his whell to take the stage victory. Peter Stetina (Felt-Holowesko Partners-Garmin) and Chris Baldwin (Rock Racing) came in second and third.

With Armstrong recovering from shoulder surgery and many riders expecting him to be using Gila for training for the Giro, it looks like Team Mellow Johnny’s has come to win.
