Tadej Valjavec Giro Diaries – Stage 7

My sensations today were ? so, so ?. A breakaway get away on first kilometers and race for the peloton really started in the middle of the stage to come back on the breakaway. So, I was able to stay with leaders without difficulties.

The end of the stage was very difficult because of rain and wind. It was a dangerous downwill, tortuous and technical. It was necessary to be very attentive and I tried not to be on the breaks. At last, I only lost 40 seconds as most of riders ahead me on general classification. I limited damage and it’s the most important.

Tomorrow, some difficulties will be on the program of the stage. All riders are a little bit tired after mountains stages and day at rest will be good for everybody.
