Memorial Pantani 2009 Results

22 riders in a final sprint of the Memorial Pantani 2009. The winner was Roberto Ferrari (LPR Brakes) good sprinter-man who has won in front of Giovanni Visconti, the captain of ISD-NERI, for his first 2009 victory.

Visconti finished the Tour of Italy with a good physical condition: "Visconti was the best in mountain" explain the sportive director Luca Scinto "and after the tour of Italy is in a excellent condition. But he lost something in the sprint, where before he found the sprinting easier. This because he has lost all the first part of preparation, due to a problem to a knee. We are sure that today a victory could have been possible, but Ferrari is a very good sprinter man so Visconti lost to a stronger rider".

Visconti is now preparing for the Tour of Slovenia and after that he will tackle the Italian Championship, the other important objective of the captain of ISD-NERI.
