Second Stage in the Tour Ends in a Bad Way for Quick Step

The second stage in the Tour de France did not end in a fine way for Team Quick Step. Jurgen van de Walle crashed during the stage, but managed to reach the finish line in the peloton. After the stage he was transported to the hospital, where he was examined. There he was diagnosed with a post traumatic-pneumothorax to his right lung and a fracture to his left collarbone. Van de Walle will be under observation in the hospital as a precautionary measure. For him the Tour is over after just 2 days.
