The Tour is a Long Race

Luis Le?n S?nchez finished today 1′ 48″ behind Fabian Cancellara, winner of the first stage of the Tour de France, an individual time trial of 15,5 kilometers  in the streets of Monaco.

“It is obvious that I am really disappointed with the time I did today. This was not a good day for me and as it was already the case last week in the Spanish time trial championship I lacked rhythm due to the fact I did not take parts in a sufficient number of races.  But this race is a very long one and the Tour is still very long before we reach Paris. It is important to go on being motivated and I will try to achieve something important in one of the next stages.”
