Tom Boonen in, Allan Davis out

On Thursday a last minute decision in the French Court of Appeals has allowed Tom Boonen to race in the Tour de France. Tom Boonen was recently in the spotlight due to repeated recreational drug offences.

Unfortunate for Australian Allan Davis who is now out to make place for Boonen. The second Australian ousted, Simon Gerrans of Cerv?lo TestTeam was replaced as requested by Carlos Sastre with a fellow spanish rider (40 year old Inigo Cuesta).

Australia is represented by six riders including favourite Cadel Evans:

Brett Lancaster (Cerv?lo TestTeam)
Cadel Evans (Silence Lotto)
Matthey Lloyd (Silence Lotto)
Stuart O’Grady (Saxo Bank)
Mark Renshaw (Columbia)
Michael Rogers (Columbia)
