AngelPower – Ride against Cancer

Support Brett Goldin in his challenge to raise $25,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. The 24 hour ride in March 2010 covers 520km from Murray (Echuca)to Moyne (Port Fairy).

Brett Goldin is tragically lost his baby boy who spent 3 months in the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. "The Doctors and nurses were like angels to us. They made us feel so comfortable throughout the long days and nights sitting in the ward. Without them we would never have been able to fully understand the situation we were facing and the challenges that lay ahead.

"The day that Gabriel died I made a promise to myself that I would do everything in my power to help the Royal Children’s Hospital. So I have taken the drive of my promise and my passion of cycling and put the two together to raise money for these incredible people. I am riding the Murray to Moyne cycle ride in March 2010 to help raise money for cancer research."

Supporting Brett’s challenge is easy – via ‘mycause’ the challenge has been initiated. In around two weeks since the launch, $1000 has been raised and every dollar counts. Mycause only accepts credit cards so please contact Brett directly if you wish to make an alternative arrangements (eg, sponsor per kilometre).
