Danilo Di Luca sample has failed for EPO confirmed by a counter-analysis. The UCi last month announced the Italian cyclist tested positive twice during the May’s Giro d’Italia.
Paris’Ch?tenay-Malabry has sent the resaults to World Anti-Doping Agency and a WADA lab has validated the original testing on the A samples.
The Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) is likely to hand Di Luca a two year sentence.
