Inaugural Arthurs Seat Bay 2 Bay Ride on April 30

Robbie McEwen says "The pleasure is worth the pain". On April 30, the Arthurs Seat Bay2bay Ride in the Mornington Peninsula offers participants a 65km and 113km ride with closed roads.

Starting in the historic coastal town of Mornington, both rides take participants quickly to Dromana and the day’s main challenge, Arthurs Seat.  At the summit of Arthurs Seat, the 113km riders will turn towards Flinders before returning to the summit of Arthurs Seat and then back to Red Hill. The 65km riders continue straight ahead towards Red Hill and continue onto Mornington.

Robbie McEwen, the Tour de France star remembered the last time he raced up Arthur Seat in 2000, "way back in the early days of my professional career, it was a big challenge then – and I don’t reckon it’s changed since," McEwen said.

The ride costs $79 and early entrants will get a wind vest (valued at $49). Entries are now open and registration and further details at: www.arthursseatride.com.au
