Aussie group on cycle learn tour in Holland

In May, Paul van Bellen of Gazelle Australia is leading a group of 30 Australians to Holland to get a first hand look at Dutch cycling infrastructure and culture. Australian cities lag behind the rest of the world in cycling infrastructure investment and with the investment in Holland, they can boast that a third of all trips are made with the bicycle while in Australia only one to two percent of trips are on the bike.

The 13 day, 500km tour will give a group of Australian’s who represent advocacy and government groups will be joined by a film team and will report daily. You can follow the progress through the tour website: www.cyclingdutchstyle.com.au
