Race against the clock – Ride4Epilepsy

On September 25 at Sandown Raceway in Victoria, cyclists will have the chance to race up to 6 hours. The event accommodates riders of all ages and skills who can choose whether to race the full 6 hours (or less) with the challenge to ride as far as possible.

Prizes will be awarded for each age category as well as he fastest lap, the team with the fastest lap and the largest team on the day.

The event was initiated to raise awareness and funds for the Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria, it is estimated that 220,000 people in Victoria will have epilepsy in their lifetime.

You can participate as an individual or as part of a team, cost is $79 for adults ($59 for under 18) and the ride is on Sunday September 25, 2011 starting at 8am at Sandown Raceway.
