Lifecycle 48hr Charity Cycle Event in Canberra

Lifecycle is charity cycling event to be held in Canberra for the first time in 2012. 48 hours is the active ‘event window’ will see participants riding on a circuit around Lake Burley Griffin during the two days. While some cyclists are already planning continuous 45 hours riding (3 hours rest), paraticipants can decide how much time they ride, whether it is an hour as a solo rider for example or as a team riding together or in relay over a longer time period.

The Lifecycle event s for a good cause, raising awareness of Leukemia and blood disorders and aiming to raise money for a purpose built facility in the the ACT.

The official start is 6:00pm on Thursday 13 September 2012 with riding continuing through to 6:00pm on Saturday 15 September 2012. The Lifecycle course will be around Lake Burley Griffin, taking in West and Central basins, with the Event Headquarters to be located at Kings Park.
