19th Tour de Hills Bicycle Classic in March

The Tour de Hills Bicycle Classic is back for the 19th year. This year it there is a choice from four dedicated routes ranging from 15km for a light ride (kids with an adult welcome), 30km, 50km and a 90km for experienced cyclists. All routes start and finish at the Australian Hotel and Brewery in Rouse Hill, and wind through the scenic Hills District including Dural, Maralya and Maroota (for the longer rides.)

There is a registration fee of $60 per adult (or $40 per child) and also an optional fundraise component with proceeds going to worthwhile charities. The highest fundraiser also wins a Hamilton Island Holiday prize.

This is not a race, rather is a community cycling event that welcomes soloists, teams and groups and provides participants with the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful rural and bushland scenery northwest of Sydney.

The event takes place on Sunday March 2. (the 90km ride starts at 7:30am) and registration and event info such as maps are all available online: www.tourdehills.com.au
