Disclaimer: Just passing this on to support a local business, I have no vested interest in the business other than to see locals make a living.
The pub/restaurant at the bottom of the Wall has recently been taken over and renovated and is now known as The Watering Hole Tavern. The owners are keen to make a go of this and want to become a bike friendly stop-off for riders on a Sunday morning.
They are open 7 - 10.30 on a Sunday morning and are keen to attract cyclists given the popularity of the location at the weekend. If you're looking for some sustenance or a caffeine hit before ascending the Wall, why not pop in and support a new business!
They're on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Wate ... fref=photo

Dunno whether I'd like to fill up on latte and cake PRIOR to the Wall - but after descending it I'd be keen!!!
