Not only that, a thunderstorm!

I walked out the front door to check weather and noticed it was starting to rain very lightly and thought, forget it. Few minutes later, thunder. Now it is pouring down.

Getting frustrated with this weather.

Was nice in Sydney’s north. Around 8-10 degrees.

I had minimum of 3°C this morning. But I was wearing enough layers to stay warm enough.

4C minimum and average of 8C for me. Despite wearing thick wool socks and winter boots my feet were still cold. But it was sunny and little wind so good riding apart from all the train replacement buses on the Pacific Highway north of Hornsby. Got close passed by a couple of them as they moved into left-hand lane as police and firetruck with sirens and lights on overtook in right lane.

That does surprise me that Sydney was that cool this morning.

Up in the north of the state and slightly inland - Murwillumbah - it was a slightly milder 7 degrees this morning. About as cool as it gets here.

Spare a thought for the residents of Ebor, (west of Bellingen & Coffs Harbour) the other day.

Apparently the minimum morning temperature was MINUS 7 degrees C.

I'm in my home office with a pair of 2019 Mac Pro workstations running (and three screens) and it's warm enough I don't need the heater at all and even opened the window.

Summer won't be great.

No rain here but the local football ground was pretty muddy, so boots need cleaning (again). It was pretty warm as well for once.

So much rain and cool temperatures so nothing is drying out.

Warm! Wore lightest jacket with long bibs and slightly overdressed. Might need to swap to summer kit yet it's still winter.

First time I wore a summer jersey (though with arm warmers and a vest) in a while. Removed the vest at the half way point as it was over 16 degrees. Damp roads but a great day for riding. Never saw so many riding on the OPH on a weekday. Probably gagging for a ride after the recent constant rain.
